About Alex

Alex Fry joined Dent Wealth Advisors in October 2021 and currently serves as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer. Originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, Alex brings a well-rounded academic and professional background to her role. She earned a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Political Science from Louisiana State University, followed by a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Louisiana Monroe.

Alex’s diverse educational experience equips her with deep expertise in governance, policy analysis, risk management, and ethical decision-making—all essential components of her work overseeing regulatory compliance. Her comprehensive skill set allows her to effectively navigate complex regulations, lead firm-wide compliance initiatives, and cultivate a culture of integrity and accountability.

Demonstrating her commitment to continuous learning and professional excellence, Alex earned the Investment Advisor Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP®) designation in January 2024. This credential recognizes advanced competency in investment advisor compliance and underscores her leadership in this critical area.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys traveling on weekends, boating with her husband and their two rescue dogs, exploring new restaurants, and spending quality time with her family.
